Opening
LOTG Gnosis is where I practice and share my ontological and spiritual inquiry.
I investigate what exists, what makes reality intelligible, and who I’m being in relation to it. That inquiry reaches into human experience, spiritual practice, cosmology, and the systems I work with.
My foundation is metaphysical humanistic ontology, informed by a Pythagorean and quadrivial worldview. That brings number, geometry, harmony, space, and time into my study of structure, order, and being.
Being and lived practice
Humanistic ontology brings the question of being into my everyday life.
Who am I being? What am I committed to? What mechanisms are shaping the way I am responding? Where am I congruent with what I say matters?
My spiritual practice shows up in how I live those questions: the commitments I make, how I treat people, how I speak to myself, and how I restore integrity when something has gone out of alignment.
One question I keep close is:
Who am I going to be when nobody is looking?
Humanistic Ontological Counseling
The human-facing expression of this practice is Humanistic Ontological Counseling.
It is pastoral inquiry that respects a person’s own religion, worldview, or spiritual framework. Within that context, the work examines commitments, patterns, choices, integrity, and what responsible self-governance can look like.
The purpose is to support clarity, agency, and the person’s capacity to understand and govern an area of their own life.
Ontological Tinkering
I also bring ontological inquiry into AI, technology, organizations, workflows, and other structured environments.
I call this Ontological Tinkering. I examine the nature of the system, the conditions shaping its behavior, and the context, boundaries, permissions, and responsibilities involved.
The inquiry adapts to the system. A human relationship, an AI agent, and an organization each require attention to their particular nature.
The inquiry can cross systems without collapsing the systems into one another.
Exploring the questions
My work also reaches into cosmology, consciousness, theological and esoteric material, and questions about how structured reality emerges.
I examine what I experience, the interpretations I give it, and what remains uncertain. I’m interested in what those inquiries reveal and how I can responsibly act in relation to them.
This space is where I share that practice through writing, reflection, observations, and developing ideas.
